Produced in BALB/c mice using highly pure recombinant human MIP-1alpha as the immunizing antigen. This IgG1K antibody was purified from cell culture by Protein G affinity chromatography.

WesternBlot: To detect Human MIP-1alpha by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 2.0-4.0 µg/ml. When used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for recombinant Human MIP-1alpha is 1.0-2.0 ng/lane, under non-reducing conditions.. Sandwich: In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100µl/well), a concentration of 2.0-4.0 µg/ml of this antibody will detect at least 2000 pg/ml of recombinant human MIP-1alpha when used with BioGems biotinylated antigen affinity purified anti-human MIP-1alpha (60-224BT) as the detection antibody at a concentration of approximately 1.0-2.0 µg/ml.. Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of Human MIP-1alpha (100 ng/ml), a concentration of 5.0-10.0 µg/ml of this antibody is required.. Reconstitution: Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml.
