This product, featuring a huIgG1 heavy chain and a hukappa light chain, has a predicted molecular weight of 150 kDa. It binds specifically to Haptoglobin with high affinity, blocking its interaction with free hemoglobin (Hb) or damage-associated molecular patterns (DAMPs, such as HMGB1). By interfering with HP-mediated ligand clearance mechanisms (e.g., the CD163 pathway), the antibody inhibits its anti-inflammatory or immunomodulatory functions. It serves as an important pharmacological tool for researching hemolytic diseases, acute phase responses, and the tumor immune microenvironment.
