Triptoquinone A is a natural quinone compound derived from Tripterygium wilfordii that exhibits anti-inflammatory activity and can inhibit the expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) induced by interleukin-1 beta (IL-1beta) or lipopolysaccharide. In vascular smooth muscle models, Triptoquinone A influences arginine-mediated vasodilation by reducing NO production.
