Partial recombinant corresponding to aa486-585 from APPBP2 (NP_006371) with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26kD.
The protein encoded by this gene interacts with microtubules and is functionally associated with beta-amyloid precursor protein transport and/or processing. The beta-amyloid precursor protein is a cell surface protein with signal-transducing properties, and it is thought to play a role in the pathogenesis of Alzheimers disease. This gene has been found to be highly expressed in breast cancer. Multiple polyadenylation sites have been found for this gene. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. AA Sequence: NQYENAEKLYLRSIAIGKKLFGEGYSGLEYDYRGLIKLYNSIGNYEKVFEYHNVLSNWNRLRDRQYSVTDALEDVSTSPQSTEEVVQSFLISQNVEGPSC Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20C. Aliquots are stable at -20C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
