CD154 is a member of the TNF family of molecules. It binds to CD40 and acts as a co-stimulatory molecule by activating antigen presenting cells, such as B cells. While CD154 is mostly found expressed on activated T cells. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Spleen cells from immunized Balb/c mice were fused with cells of the myeloma Sp2/0 cell line. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20C. Aliquots are stable at -20C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
