CD154 is a member of the TNF family of molecules. It binds to CD40 and acts as a co-stimulatory molecule by activating antigen presenting cells, such as B cells. While CD154 is mostly found expressed on activated T cells. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Spleen cells from immunized Balb/c mice were fused with cells of the myeloma Sp2/0 cell line. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
