Killer cell immunoglobulin-like receptor 2DL3 is also known as CD158b, KIR-023GB, MHC class I NK cell receptor, p58 natural killer cell receptor or Natural killer-associated transcript 2. CD158b is a 341aa, ~58 kD single pass type-1 transmembrane glycoprotein containing two Ig-like C2-type domains that is expressed by a subset of NK cells. CD158b functions as a receptor specific for HLA Class I molecules, including Cw3 and related HLA-C alleles. C2548-87B can restore the lysis by human NK clones of otherwise lysis protected targets expressing Cw3. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:50. 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul. Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Hybridoma: P3UI myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Recommended Negative Control: I1904-78R: Mouse IgG1 Negative Control Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
