Immunogen:
Recombinant protein corresponding to human Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 1 beta (MIP1 beta, CCL4), Sf 21-derived.
Applications: Suitable for use in neutralization of bioactivity, ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Neutralization: 0.3-1.5ug/ml in the presence of 0.04ug/ml of rhMIP-1b, using the BaF/3 hCCR5 transfected cell chemotaxis assay. In chemotaxis assays, this antibody will neutralize the biological activity of human MIP-1b and mouse MIP-1b at a 25-fold higher IgG concentration. Will not neutralize the biological activity of mouse MIP1b. ELISA: 0.5-1ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect human MIP-1b. The detection limit is ~0.3ng/well. Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. The detection limit is 1.5-3.0ng/lane, under non-reducing and reducing conditions. Immunohistochemistry: 0.5- 5ug/ml in cultured cells or tissue. sections. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Endotoxin: <0.1EU/ml Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Country of Origin: USA
