Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 2, also known as Gro beta and CSCL2, is an 8kD chemokine, which is expressed by monocytes, fibroblasts, endothelial cells, synovia cell and several tumor cell lines. MIP-2 promotes neutrophil chemotaxis and degranulation. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:2000 Immunoprecipitation:1:500 Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Recommended ELISA Pair: Capture: M1202-49A Detection: M1202-54A Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
