Recombinant protein corresponding to mouse MIP-2 expressed in E. coli.
MIP-2, also known as CXCL2, is expressed by macrophages and epidermal langerhans cells and is chemotactic for neutrophils. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Neutralization and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA (sandwich): 0.5-2ug/ml (100ul/well) in conjunction with M1202-52D as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant mouse MIP-2 Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for recombinant mouse MIP-2 is 1.5-3ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS containing 0.1% BSA or HSA. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer
