TAT-MEK1, an inhibitor of ERK2, comprises TAT and MEK1 (N-terminal). The TAT component (YGRKKRRQRRR) is a cell-penetrating peptide derived from the human immunodeficiency (HIV-1) transcriptional trans activator (TAT). TAT-MEK1 has an IC50 of 29 µM for ERK2 in vitro [1] [2].
