Recombinant corresponding to aa42-295 from human CD162 expressed in CHO-S cell lines.
Human PSGL-1 is a 120kD mucin-type glycoprotein that plays a key role in leukocyte adhesion.1, 2 PSGL-1 is found on virtually all leukocytes, including macrophages/DCs.1 This antibody was selected for its ability to recognize sLeX-bearing core 2 O-glycan stuctures. It does not recognize sLex on an extended core 1 O-glycan. The sLex-bearing core 2 O-glycan structure decorates the P-Selectin ligand PSGL-1, and the presence of this glycan structure is required for high affinity P-Selectin binding.3 This antibody stains human and canine leukocytes, but does not recognize monkey, mouse, rabbit, porcine, feline, or bovine leukocytes. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Excitation: 488nm Emission: 565-605nm Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months at 4C. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE conjugates are sensitive to light.
