Human CD166 is a type 1 glycoprotein expressed on activated T cells, B cells and monocytes and appears to be the ligand for CD6 (1,2). Human CD166 may be important for activation of T cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot, Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1ug/ml under non-reducing conditions only Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 10e6 cells in human whole blood monocytes Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
