Tn is a cryptantigen which was recently designated CD175 at the 7th Leucocyte Typing Workshop. Tn antigen is not expressed on normal haemopoietic cells but exposure of the Tn is associated with polyagglutination. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Haemagglutination. Other applications have not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Secondary Reagents: I1904-38E: IgG F(ab)2, Rabbit (HRP) Recommended Negative Controls: I1904-78R: Mouse IgG1 Negative Control Recommended positive control tissue: Breast carcinoma Hybridoma: Spleen cells from immunized mice were fused with cells of a myeloma cell line Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
