CD177 (NB1/HNA-2a and PRV-1 form) is a GPI-anchored glycoprotein present mainly on neutrophils. Its plasma membrane expression is increased during pregnancy and and inflammation or after G-CSF application. Ligand of CD177 has been identified as CD31 (PECAM-1). CD177 participates in neutrophil transmigration and seems to be also a pro-proliferative molecule. The antibodies against CD177 can be involved in neonatal alloimmune neutropenia (NAN). Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 20ul/100ul of whole blood or 10e6 cells in a suspension. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20C. Aliquots are stable at -20C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
