Recombinant protein corresponding to human Macrophage Derived Chemokine expressed in E. coli.
Human Macrophage-Derived Chemokine (MDC) is a unique member of the CC chemokine family. Human MDC is highly expressed in macrophages and in monocyte-derived dendritic cells, but not in monocytes, natural killer cells or several lines of epithelial, endothelial or fibroblast origin. Recombinant Human MDC is an 8kD protein containing 67 aa residues. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: ICR F1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Storage and Stability: Store product at 4C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
