Recombinant protein corresponding to rat MIP-1 alpha, expressed in E.coli.
MIP-1 alpha is also known as CCL3. MIP-1 alpha has a molecular weight of approximately 7.8kD and is produced by activated macrophages. MIP-1 alpha has been shown to be involved in the inflammatory response of blood monocytes and tissue macrophages. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Functional Assays. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 0.5ug/ml Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml Optimal working dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Secondary Reagents: Sheep anti Rabbit IgG: HRP Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
