Immunogen:
Recombinant protein corresponding to human Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 1 beta derived from E. coli.
Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Neutralization and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Neutralization: 1.75-3ug/ml will yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of human Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 1 beta (50ng/ml). ELISA (Sandwich): 0.5-2ug/ml using 100ul/well antibody solution. In conjunction with biotinylated anti-human Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 1 beta (M1202-31D) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4ng/well of recombinant human Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 1 beta. Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant human Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 1 beta is 1.5-3ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 1ug/ml stains human pancreas adennocarcinoma when incubated for 2hrs ar RT. An HRP-labeled polymer detection system was used with a DAB chromogen. Heat induced antigen retrival with sodium citrate buffer, pH 6, is recommended. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, pH 7.2. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O to a concentration of 0.1-1mg/ml.
