Manufacturer: US Biological
Host: Rabbit
Category: Antikörper
Immunogen: Recombinant protein corresponding to mouse MCP-5, expressed in E. coli.
Chemotactic factor that attracts eosinophils, monocytes, and lymphocytes but not neutrophils. Potent monocyte active chemokine that signals through CCR2. Involved in allergic inflammation and the host response to pathogens and may play a pivotal role during early stages of allergic lung inflammation. Applications: Suitable for use in Neutralization, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA (Sandwich): 0.5-2ug/ml using 100ul/well antibody solution in conjunction with biotylated anti-mouse MCP-5 (M2750-22) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 2000-4000pg/well of recombinant mouse MCP-5. Western Blot: 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant mouse MCP-5 is 1.5-3ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Neutralization: 2-3ug/ml to yield one half maximal inhibition (ND50) of mouse MCP-5 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
UniProt: Q62401
Purity: Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Form: Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS. No preservative added. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O to a concentration of 0.1-1mg/ml.
